Professional Technical (PT) Degrees are industry and market driven. This means that the PT programs prepare you for high demand jobs in the region. The degree completion time is often shorter, allowing you to enter the workforce quickly.

- Associate of Applied Science Degree - AAS (approximately two-years)
- Advanced Technical Certificate - ATC (approximately 16 months)
- Technical Certificate - TC (approximately one-year)
- Postsecondary Technical Certificate - PTC (usually less than one-year)

The College of Western Idaho delivers college credit instruction, certificates and degrees through its memorandum of understanding with the College of Southern Idaho (CSI). CSI is accredited through The Northwest Commission on Colleges and Universities (NWCCU). Credits, certificates and degrees earned at CWI appear on CSI transcripts and are transferable to four year institutions, subject to the specific policies of those institutions.
