Information Technology Help Desk

The College of Western Idaho (CWI) Information Technology Help Desk provides support for information technology equipment and services. The Help Desk is the first point of contact for prospective students, current students, and faculty and staff requiring assistance from the Department of Information Technology.

The Help Desk operates according to the following schedule:

Monday-Thursday: 8 a.m. - 9 p.m.
Friday: 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.
Saturday: 9 a.m.- 5 p.m.

If you are experiencing a non-urgent problem or would like to request support at a time when the Help Desk is not operating, you may submit an online request for assistance.

  1. Using an Internet browser, go to: http://helprequest.cwidaho.cc.
  2. Use your Help Desk system account credentials to log on.
    1. The Help Desk system account is separate from all other accounts, and if you have not yet created one, you must do so before logging on to the site. Click the first-time user “sign up here” link, and follow the prompts to create your account.
  3. Click the “Add” link from the navigation menu at the top of the page. Complete all relevant fields, and submit your request. The Help Desk will address your issue as soon as possible.
